I've learned that staying focused on Jesus and other people's needs and staying busy serving Jesus has been the only way to Victory from my old self-will and my often infirmities. Jesus lived for others and not for himself. To me that is the only escape from this weak, frail, battered and wounded human body of flesh that I now live in daily, so I daily walk in God's Holy Spirit of Victory. I'm have been wounded many times, but I turn my pain into work and service for others and spend my days emptying myself for others to have hope that someone will learn how to lean on Jesus for Victory like I have had too. John Butler has to die to self daily and do what Jesus commands us all to do, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God." But the Jesus that lives in me is alive and well and he compels me to go seek the lost, the wounded and those that are bound and to live for others, and not myself any longer. Therefore I rejoice in my infirmities, for His strength is made perfect in my weakness as I lean more on Jesus and His strength as I walk after him daily and live wholly for him and compel others to be saved. I'm saved, washed in His blood, and on fire for God.
Satan has screamed from the lips of many people at me saying. "I hate you, and everything that God has called you to do, and I will seek to destroy you all the days of your life." My reply is, Thank you Jesus, at least I know who's side I'm on. I got my calling from the Holy Spirit and it made the devil so mad he opened his big mouth and confirmed it.
I've often tell the Lord that I'm sorry for not being able to draw huge crowds of people to meetings like other great men and women of God do. His reply was, you have a crowd every time you step out on the highway to witness for me. You have walked and witnessed to millions and millions of people for me. I have bestowed upon you the honor that comes from me only, my Presence and the power of my Spirit. "It is not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit says the LORD of hosts. "So I do the walking and the Holy Spirit does the talking to human hearts." Only Jesus by the power of the Holy Spirit can change the heart of anyone. I'm amazed when someone walks up to me weeping and asking me, "How do I get saved?" Right then I pray with them and lead them to Jesus.
I've got a job that few people would want or take on, witnessing to people who are racing into eternity, headed straight to heaven or hell out on the highways and hedges of this world. You get cussed at everyday, threaten and you never know what is going to happen next. The church people don't understand you. They think you are crazy or just seeking attention to yourself. The church ridicules your witness as being sacrligious. You are judged by preachers and churches and cast out of their churches. Persecuted, but not forsaken by God. Forgotten, and forbidden to speak to God's sheep, but God said that I have a open invitation to preach in His pulpit anytime I wanted to preach. He said there is no competion out here on the roadside. Many preachers are just playing with the souls while I'm out walking and seeking the lost and going out there were they live at.
But, in the past 28 years I've been able by the Grace of God to walk over 54,000 thousand miles, the distance around the world two times for Jesus Christ my Lord and Master.
I was in Heritage Bible College in Orlando Florida in 1979, seeking God's will for my life. Later while seeking God's will for my life he spoke to my heart to make a cross and go out into the highways and hedges and remind the world of the greatest work that he has done when he offered up his Son Jesus Christ on the cross for the sins of the whole world. THE GREATEST WITNESS! THR GREATEST WORK! THE GREATEST SACRIFICE! IS JESUS CHRIST!!!
In the past 28 years I've learned a lot in this school of the Holy Spirit, living by faith, through many trials and hardships along with many victories and I've met many people who care enough about what I do for Jesus to help me keep on walking. I not a beggar. I just walk by faith and God puts it upon hearts around the world to support His ministry that is being made manifest through me. I'm just a instrument in the hands of God to remind the world of the greatest act of Love ever performed for mankind was when God gave His only begoten Son Jesus Christ as a living sacrifice for all the sins of the world. God demostrated His great Love for us when Jesus Christ died on the cross for us all.
I have not been able to escape all my troubles or trials, but I have learned that Jesus becomes my victory through my self surrender to him. Only Self surrender has been the key for me to find God's love, acceptance and purpose and sweet victory in Jesus.
My freedom from my old self comes only by me yielding myself daily to a loving God who gave his all at the cross for me in Christ Jesus. A peace that I cannot explain and a Presence that continues to grow stronger as I daily surrender to God and his plan and will for my life. I am happy and at perfect peace when I myself am totally focused fully on Christ. He has not destroyed self in me. He has washed my soul with His precious blood, cleansed me and taught me that self can have life more abundantly when I will live wholly forJesus. Have you ever surrendered yourself fully to Christ Jesus? He will not condemn you, but rather he will forgive, cleanse you and help you become the person he created you to be in his own image and likeness. Self becomes a new creature in Christ Jesus when you surrender your heart and will fully to God. There is no condemnation to them who have presented themselves to Jesus Christ as a living sacrifice. But that sacrifice must be made daily if you intend to be a witness for Jesus Christ as your Lord and Master to a lost and dieing world.
My wife Mary Jo and I have a ministry called Jesus World Ministries and we travel and share our testimony and we teach churches and believers how to win the lost to Jesus. I also teach those who want to learn how to win souls and get people to rededicate thier lives to Christ Jesus. We have chosen to go forth and teach and minister without asking for money and we live completly by free-will love offerings that people give as they obey the Holy Spirit as he leads them to give. We do not charge for our services to minister and train others. We go forth by faith and also by invation and also by the compelling of the Holy Spirit also.

We all live in a post 9/11 whether we like it or not. I've heard the Spirit of God speaking to my heart to get prepared and be ready. I'm doing all I can do to be ready to help lead others to Jesus in these times of growing disasters and crisis. Maybe we had to go through all these losses in our life to be able to look people in the eye who have lost everything and tell them God is bigger than any moutain that we can or cannot see, and can and will restore what you've lost if you will ask him to help you get back up after you have been knocked down and still serve him. All trials do is test you and me to see if we are going to quit and walk away or just settle in and face the storms and serve Jesus all the days of our life.
God has spoken to my heart that the people who wear crowns in God's kingdom will be people who have battled their way through life serving Jesus and have not turned back from following him just because they have failed or or not become famous. I have learned through life that I cannot judge no other human being because none of us know what kind of CROSS awaits each of us down the road of our life. Christians around the world need to get ready and prepared to serve others.

Has anyone has ever told you that God loves you and that He has a wonderful plan for your life? Be honest! "If you were to die this very second, do you know for sure, beyond the shadow of a doubt that you would go to heaven?" Many good people think that by their good deeds they are ready to go to heaven, but if they do repent and turn in their heart from sin, satan, and self and confess that they trust in Jesus Christ to be their personal Lord and Savior or that they are born again I just go ahead and preach the good news of Jesus to them and try to get them to say the prayer of asking Jesus to forgive them and save them. "One person said I cannot do that here, I've got to go to church to get saved many will say."
No my friend you can get saved anywhere, at any place, if you are ready to seek God with all your heart and surrender your will, your heart and life completely to him. Jesus died on the cross and shed His own precious blood for the forgiveness of all your sins. All you have to do is open your heart and give yourself fully to him. Jesus alone is the Savior of our souls. Jesus came to seek and save that which was lost.
"The Word of God declares that we are all born into this world lost and we all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God and that there is none of us righteous no not one." The gospel also says that the wages of sin is death, but THE GIFT OF GOD is eternal life through Jesus Christ. And whosoever shall call upon the name of Jesus Christ shall be saved."
We'll I'm a whosoever and so are you. Dear God please bless the person that is reading this right now in their body with healing and with a long and blessed life. Lord Jesus please do a quick work in their heart right now and show them that you love them and that you are real.
Now pray this prayer outloud right now and mean it with all your heart.
"Say, Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart right now. Please forgive me of all my sins. Wash me and cleanse me. Set me free Lord Jesus. Jesus I thank you that you died for me on the cross. I beleive that you have risen from the dead and that you are coming back again for me also. Jesus fill me with the Holy Spirit. Give me a passion for the lost, a hunger for the things of God and a Holy boldness to tell others about you. "I confess that I'm saved, I'm born again, I'm forgiven and I'm on my way to heaven because I just asked you Lord Jesus to come into my heart."
Now were is Jesus? IN YOUR HEART!!! If you really mean't that prayer because Jesus did not come to destroy peoples lives but to save them. You have just asked Jesus to come into your heart and His Word says that he will in no wise cast you out. Now can you begin to say, "Thank you Jesus for coming into my heart and life."
"Now as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ I tell you that if you really mean't that prayer of repentance, surrender and made a real commitment to trust Jesus Christ as your Savior, then based upon what God's Word says, now all your sins are now forgiven. Always remember to run to God and not from God because he really does love you and has a wonderful plan for your life." You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all of your heart. You have to give yourself daily to God, because God alone through Christ Jesus can save, heal or deliver.
